A user perspective
We have developed Fides with a singular focus on hotel operations. Implementation of the system is straightforward, and the intuitiveness of the user interface enables rapid adoption.
The operational benefits become almost immediately clear. Users gain insight in current and required stock levels, itemized article usage and erosion patterns, and laundry turnaround times. An essential functionality, Fides predicts timing and volumes of replacement orders.
Fides is able to operate in any hotel environment, irrespective of the hotel owning or renting their linen. Laundries and textile manufacturers can tag the articles with an RFID chip. However, Fides still performs in case the laundry or textile supplier does not tag all textiles. In that case, the system projects full stock data within a margin of error below 2%.
Fides integrates groundbreaking AI capabilities to make managing your textiles effortless. To illustrate, the system maps every report, identifies trends or deviations, and sends predictive, actionable notifications directly to your inbox.
These notifications explain the issue, suggest solutions, and provide supporting data. As a consequence, you don’t need to invest time learning a new system; Fides works for you, highlighting only what requires your attention.
A technical perspective
Our focus is on leveraging industry best practices to deliver superior performance and reliability. For this reason, we have built our platform on a solid, scalable architecture.
We have developed the front end with Angular 18, a top-tier framework supported by Google, ensuring a seamless and highly interactive user experience.
The backend is powered by .NET, a robust Microsoft platform, and deployed on Azure. This is one of the world’s largest and most trusted public cloud providers. Contributing further to platform solidity, and for data persistence, we use SQL Server on Azure. This guarantees high performance and security for managing information.
In addition, we have developed a cross-platform mobile application using MAUI. This is another Microsoft development tool, enabling us to reach a broad audience across iOS, Android, and other operating systems.
We have integrated Python scripts running in Docker containers. This is a widely adopted system architecture choice designed to handle intensive computations efficiently.
