Your Textile Register and data portability
Your hotel. Your textiles. Your data. Customer operational data remains the customer's while LossLess hosts and processes it. Authorised administrators can export the Textile Register in CSV or XLSX, keeping textile identities and their operational context accessible beyond Fides.
What is a Textile Register
The Textile Register brings individual RFID/EPC identities together with the information that makes them useful. It connects an identifiable textile with its article description, operational pool and status, rather than leaving the hotel with an isolated list of tag numbers.
The register includes the RFID/EPC identity, article type or description, size or variant where applicable, property or operational pool, status, encoding or activation date where available, last-read information and completed laundry or service cycles, also described as number of washes. Available fields reflect the information recorded for the article.
Access and export
Authorised administrators can export the information the customer is entitled to access in CSV or XLSX. These familiar formats support review, analysis and the movement of operational records into other systems. Data portability makes the identity and its context available for reuse; compatibility with a particular third-party system still depends on its requirements and the agreed data mapping.
Exports respect permissions, customer and property boundaries, and legitimate third-party rights. A shared laundry population is not a single customer's unrestricted dataset. A hotel using rented textiles may have a legitimate right to operational information without owning those textiles.
What stays distinct
Customer operational data and LossLess/Fides intellectual property are different things. Access to the customer's textile records does not transfer ownership of the software, its source code or the platform's methods. Equally, hosting and processing customer records does not make those records LossLess property.
The website animation shows sample identities forming a register and connecting to portable formats. It illustrates the principle and workflow. It does not display or connect to live customer records.
