Stretching out

Hotels

Hotels often lack the mechanisms to control the lifecycle of their expensive textiles, resulting in poor operational efficiency and disproportionate cost. Failure to manage textiles also has significant environmental consequences. Most items end up as waste, and are an increasing component of landfills, estimated to exceed 100 billion pounds globally.

Globally, hotels are enhancing cleaning practices; however, these new routines hardly address the most critical element of human contact: bed linen and other textile items. TaaS, Textile as a Service, gives you control, and answers questions like how many sheets and pillow cases you have, how many you need, where they are and when they will be delivered.

A new service in development will allow guests and staff to check if the linen has been washed with a COVID-free wash program.

Eating out

Restaurants

Restaurant guests are in constant contact with the beautiful table cloth, and use a napkin throughout dinner. More than ever, your guests want to be sure they are enjoying that steak in a safe environment, and they can return home in the knowledge that napkin was safe to use.

Our track and trace system TaaS, Textile as a Service, helps provide an environment that is perceived as safe and clean by your guests and the staff that serve them. With that in mind, we are developing an additional service to ensure the personal health of all involved.

Guests and staff will be able to ascertain that the cloth on their table was washed with a COVID-free program, by using the QR function of their mobile phone to scan the textile items in the room.
